In the past, geological data, geological survey, structural geological section measurement, etc., based on the new geophysical exploration method, select the appropriate location to infer the drilling of the buried rock mass or the exposed rock mass to the deep depth, and then carry out the diamond search. After more than two years of hard work, the geologists discovered five new rock masses on the surface of the Maping area in Zhenyuan County. Among them, 28 veins were newly discovered in a new hole in the geophysical exploration new area. Some of the veins are olivine phenocrysts and chrome spinels, and the first diamond-bearing primary ore-bearing potassium-magnesium lamprophyre rock mass discovered in China in 1965. ——The characteristics of the “Oriental No.1†rock mass in Zhenping, Zhenyuan are similar, and the prospecting is of great significance. Recently, experts from the China Geodetic Bureau Chengdu Geodetic Center and the Yunnan Provincial Bureau of Geodetic Surveys have proposed the same in the newly discovered K-magnesia porphyry rock mass in the Maping area and compared the magmatic rock output characteristics in the Sanjiang area of ​​Yunnan. The view is that “the characteristics of the potassium-magnesium lamprophyre rock mass in the Maping area show that the roots of the rock mass are not obvious, and there is a high possibility of large hidden rock masses, and the prospecting prospect is promising.†Currently, the project has been completed. In the 2014 design review, we are actively carrying out field work. In addition, the geologists also found two newly discovered rock masses on the surface of the Datang area in Shibing County, which are similar to the Zhenping Maping area in Zhenyuan, and all have hidden explosion characteristics.
At the end of 2009, the “Yangzi Platform Diamond Prospecting Workshop†was held in Hunan. In November 2010, Song Ruixiang, the former Minister of Mines, led a diamond exploration expert from Liaoning and Hunan to visit Guizhou, and placed high hopes on diamond prospecting in Guizhou Province. He said, "I hope that a new generation of geologists will take over the diamond baton to find the diamond primary deposits with industrial value in Guizhou Province." In 2012, the China Geodetic Bureau officially launched the "Guangzhou Zhenyuan Mapping Area Diamond Vision Survey Project". , opened a new round of the Yangtze platform diamond prospecting work.
