"Polyurethane Waterproof Coating" National Standard

Compared with the JC/T 500--92 industry standard, the "Polyurethane Waterproof Coating" national standard mainly revise the following:

(1) The cancellation of qualified products, first-class products, and use period test items;

(2) Added single-component products;

(3) According to the product tensile properties are divided into I, II categories;

(4) Test methods and technical indicators were adjusted;

(5) Added safety and environmental protection requirements related to production and use. In the general requirements, it is clearly stated that the products covered by this standard shall not have harmful effects on the human body, organisms and the environment, and the involved {TodayHot} and the related safety and environmental protection requirements shall comply with the relevant national standards and specifications of China;

(6) Test items such as tear strength and wet-based surface bond strength were added.

With the approval of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, GB/T 19250-2003 "Polyurethane Waterproof Coating" has been officially implemented on March 1, 2004. From the date of implementation of this standard, JC/T 500--92 ( The (polyurethane waterproof coating) standard is abolished.

The current JC/T 500--1992 "Polyurethane Waterproof Coating" industry standard was implemented on April 1, 1993. The standard applies to two-component polyurethane waterproof coating, mainly tar modified; one-component polyurethane {HotTag} waterproof coating has no uniform domestic product standard. The revision of the GB/T 19250-2003 "Polyurethane Waterproof Coating" national standard adopted the relevant part of Japan ((JIS A6021-2000 Waterproof Coating for Construction).

The main differences between this standard and JIS A 6021-2000 are:

(1) In addition to the tensile strength of Type II products which is higher than the JIS A 6021-2000, the other indexes are equivalent. The indexes of single-component Type I products are equivalent to those of JIS A 6021-2000;

(2) Abolished the raw materials section and added general requirements;

(3) Only include polyurethane waterproof coating;

(4) Divided into categories I and II by performance;

(5) Artificial aging adopts xenon arc lamp instead of carbon arc lamp. Cumulative irradiation time 250h is modified to cumulative irradiation energy 1500MJ/m2 (about 720h);

(6) Increase the surface dry time, dry time, moisture base bond strength, low temperature bending test items;

(7) Abolished the high and low temperature tensile properties, drawing product, ozone aging, anti-sag, coating film specific gravity test items;

(8) Do not distinguish between exposure and non-exposibility according to performance, and use artificial weathering indicators to control;

(9) The solid content specifies the specific data.
