Nano diamond embedded contact lens

According to an overseas version of the People’s Daily, researchers at the University of California recently invented a new drug delivery system that embeds nanodiamonds into contact lenses to deliver drugs to treat glaucoma. The researchers combined the drug with nanodiamond, and when the drug comes into contact with lysozyme in the tears, it is released and acts on the eye. Researchers say the treatment is good for drug delivery, and diamonds make contact lenses more durable in delivering drugs.
