U.S. R & D wearable solar panels

On April 1, the "Army Times" weekly website published a report titled "Five New Technologies for Army Combatants" compiled as follows:

Soldiers may soon pack solar panels on backpacks and helmets to charge the batteries and power the displays and other equipment used on the battlefield.

United States Army Equipment Command Commander Dennis Vyau said at the U.S. Army Association meeting that Army researchers and scientists are developing such wearable solar panels and other technologies.

Vivia said that the following are current and future research and development activities aimed at providing new types of equipment for soldiers:

The Joint Multipurpose Verification Machine lays the foundation for eventually replacing the aging fleet with vertical rise performance. The purpose of developing this technology is to allow military personnel to fly farther and faster and improve flight efficiency.

The Army's Natick R&D team is working hard to develop a palm-sized reconnaissance plane so that the image in the next room or downstairs hall can be seen in real time. This equipment is mainly used in poor lighting, indoors or in real situations.

R&D personnel are exploring the technology of turning soldiers into generators, using the devices worn on their military uniforms to capture the kinetic energy generated by the activities.

Augmented reality sandboxes have seen a period of improvement in the display of terrain compared to the past. This sand table allows combat personnel to grasp the terrain of the battlefield, allowing them to adjust the position of the sandbox and adapt to the environment according to their own needs.

Vivia said: "When I saw this kind of sandbox, I couldn't believe my eyes. It was so fascinating." (Compile / Li Fengqin)
