Northwest Aluminum Successfully Produced 5.5μm Double Zero Aluminum Foil

Recently, Northwest Aluminum Foil Factory successfully produced a 5.5μm double-zero aluminum foil on No. 3 finishing mill. At the beginning of March, the aluminum foil factory decided to trial manufacture of double-zero aluminum foil with a thickness of 5.5μm. The Technical Quality Department produced a detailed trial production plan by summarizing the process parameters and rolling conditions in the past three years. The program stipulates the rolling process parameters and roll parameters for each pass, and tracks each pass of the trial. After three days of production, a double-zero foil with a thickness of 5.5 μm was successfully rolled at one time. According to the test, the plate type, thickness and surface quality are all better than the national standard. The number of pinholes in the batch of aluminum foil is 15-25 per square inch. The Technical Quality Department will actively carry out the summary work of the trial production, lay a good foundation for the follow-up high-end aluminum foil production, and lay a good foundation.
