Method for measuring phase frequency of electric energy meter

This paper mainly explains the measurement method of phase angle, voltage, current and frequency of electric energy meter.

First, single-phase voltage, current, phase angle test method

1. Connect the measured voltage lines L and N to the U1 red and COM black jacks of the instrument.
2. The current clamp I1 clamps the L line under test and can test the single-phase line voltage, current, phase, frequency, power parameters, etc. (left)
Note: ES2010E measures voltage, current, phase, frequency, etc., without shifting. Plug it in correctly to read
3. The ES2010E is a two-channel phase meter. So you can also test with U2 red, COM, I2 channel. (right)













Second, three-phase voltage, current, phase angle test method
1. Three-phase three-wire test:
(1) Connect the measured voltage lines UA yellow, UB green, and UC red to the U1 red, COM black, and U2 red jacks of the instrument.
(2) Current clamps I1 and I2 clamp the line IA and IC to be tested.
(3) It can test three-phase three-wire voltage, current, phase, frequency, power, power factor and so on. Refer to the figure below for reference wiring.




2. Three-phase four-wire test:
The voltage, current, phase, frequency, power, power factor, etc. of the three-phase four-wire can be tested in two steps. The corresponding wiring is shown in the following table and figure.
