On March 16-19, 2016, the 10th German International Grinding Exhibition ( GrindTec2016 ) was held in the Augsburg Exhibition Center in Germany. This is a global event in the world of grinding technology after the concept of Industry 4.0 was introduced in Germany. A total of 560 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions participated in the exhibition, 3M, Saint-Gobain, TYROLIT, THELEICO, HREBS, PFERD, Asahi Diamond, Sumitomo Electric, Rijin, DMG, Vollmer and other industry giants all appeared; among them, the number of Chinese exhibitors is nearly 50, which is the third largest exhibition group of this exhibition, which has received extensive attention from the organizers and audiences.

At 10:00 am local time on the 16th, the exhibition officially opened. The German organizer held a brief opening ceremony in Hall 5 and held an award ceremony. Everyone visited the production workshops and exhibition halls of VOLLMER, and watched the production of the technicians at close range.
