Limiting the overall price of phosphate rock in Hubei

In August, the domestic phosphate rock prices were raised overall. Among them, the average increase in the Hubei region is between 20 and 50 yuan (t price, the same below), and the price of the 30-grade ore plate in the Yichang region where the increase is relatively large has reached 480 yuan. At the same time, the price of phosphate ore in Guizhou, Yunnan and other regions also rose steadily. Due to the increase in the price of phosphate rock, the market supply is difficult to meet, and downstream companies are looking for goods everywhere.

At the end of July, Hubei Province issued relevant opinions on the current tight market conditions for phosphate ore: to limit the mining of phosphate ore in Hubei, and to reorganize and close down the phosphate ore enterprises with an annual production capacity of 150,000 tons or less. As a result of this order, a number of large and medium-sized phosphate companies in Hubei successively purchased phosphate ore from Guizhou, causing the price of phosphate rock in Guizhou to rise again. The 30-grade Fuquan car plate price rose to 500-520 yuan; Kaiyang car plate price rose to 550 to 560 yuan; overall rose 20 to 40 yuan over the previous period.

Since August, the ammonium phosphate export began to implement new customs declaration prices, which was increased by 30 US dollars from the previous period to 630 US dollars. Although the profit of some companies is reduced, the export volume of diammonium phosphate will be reduced accordingly. It was learned from the port that the proportion of Pu-calcium, heavy-calcium and compound fertilizers was increased in August, which has some impact on the phosphate ore market, as the current shortage of phosphate ore resources and the idea of ​​downstream stockpiling are also increasing.

Although the current demand for phosphate rock is relatively large in the downstream, the scarcity of resources has caused many mining companies and traders to sit on the ground. The high cost has prompted more companies to look for goods everywhere. It is expected that in this state, the ore will remain upward in the late period.
