1.1 Materials and drugs

Cotton fabric after scouring and bleaching; sericin powder (molecular weight 15000, supplied by Huzhou Nanfang Biotechnology Co., Ltd.); sodium periodate and propanol, all of which are chemically pure.

1.2 Preparation of samples

Cut dozens of cotton fabrics of a certain size, place them in a certain concentration of sodium periodate solution, and oxidize at 50 ° C for 2 h in the dark. Then, it was placed in a 0.1 mol/L glycerol solution for 0.5 h to remove unreacted sodium periodate. After thoroughly washing with deionized water, it was naturally dried to obtain an oxidized cotton fabric.
