Molybdenum fertilizer is one of the earliest research and application of trace element fertilizers in China. It is widely used in legume crops ( soybeans, peanuts ) , legume green manure crops, cruciferous crops and sugar beets. It has a good effect on promoting the production of nodules of legumes and improving nitrogen fixation capacity.

Commonly used molybdenum fertilizer varieties are ammonium molybdate and sodium molybdate. The most used ammonium molybdate is mainly used for foliar spraying. First dissolve ammonium molybdate with a small amount of warm water, then use cold water to the required concentration. The concentration of 0.02 % ~0.05 %, 50~70 kg per acre of solution , continuous spraying 2-3 times. Also available is O.05 % ~0 .
