However, after a year of integration and restructuring, Shanxi has renewed its new planning ideas. “Since the integration of the Shanxi iron and steel industry, this idea has been proposed for the first time, and there is no actual action yet.†The person in charge of the investment department of the Shanxi Provincial Economic and Information Committee said.
“These six steel companies are ranked top in the province,†said a senior steel industry official in Shanxi Province. It is reported that Taigang Group is located in Taiyuan City with a capacity of 10 million tons. Shougang Changzhi Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. is located in Changzhi, with an annual steel production capacity of 3.6 million tons. Haixin Iron and Steel Group is located in Yuncheng and has a comprehensive production capacity of 5.6 million tons of iron, 6 million tons of steel, 2.6 million tons of steel and 2.6 million tons of slabs. Jiugang Steel Co., Ltd. produces 1 million tons of iron, 1.68 million tons of steel and 1.88 million tons of steel. Fusheng Steel Co., Ltd. is located in Jincheng City. It plans to produce 1.8 million tons of hot-rolled ribbed steel, 600,000 tons of high-speed wire and 2 million tons of plate.
